This Blue Moon Milk requires only a few ingredients to make and is the perfect comforting drink to have. It is vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free.

I first came across moon milk when one of my friends first introduced them to me. From what I learned, moon milk originated from Ayurveda, one of the oldest holistic healing systems in India. Moon milk is used often before bed in a way to help those who are having trouble sleeping or want a more restful night.

Since I was little, I love having a cup of warm milk sometimes plain and other times with chocolate before bed. I love the warmth of the milk as it settles on my stomach. I feel more restful after having it, maybe because I got so used to it. With all that is happening, I can definitely use more relaxation methods. I used a few ingredients to put this moon milk together. Seeing the colors instantly brightened my day.

Here are the ingredients I used to make this moon milk:
-unsweetened oatmilk (or any other plantbased milk of choice)
-maple syrup
-maca powder (optional)
-butterfly pea powder (or 3-4 tbsp frozen blueberries)
-½ tsp cinnamon
-pinch of salt
